Praise Dance
FAQ
Praise Dance is a series of exercises carefully choreographed to meditative as well as catchy music and designed to work out the whole body. The routines incorporate elementary-level movements from various dance and exercise genres e.g. tai chi, ballet, cha cha, tango, haiwaian, marches, hip hop and others.
Praise Dance is open to people of all ages and with varying levels of physical fitness. We do encourage participants to “listen” to their bodies and do only what is comfortable according to their physical condition.
The aim of Praise Dance is to allow participants to exercise in community with others in a fun-filled and non-intimidating environment. There is no pressure to perform and no one to impress.
Participants just need to follow the instructor(s), have fun dancing and encourage one another in the process. Many have experienced improved flexibility and physical coordination with regular practice over time.
